Yeah it sucks. The commish knows it but cant do anything about it. So do the owners and players but they refuse to compromise with each trying to hold their ground. The fans of course get screwed and if there is anyone that can show irrepairable harm its the fans. Think about Vegas. Football is the number one sport for betting and where Casinos make alot of their money. If there is no season, they may decide to layoff employees which starts a chain reaction down to the private sector being affected.

Some fans may never return to the NFL or it might take a couple of years for them to. I remember a quote that was said a while back that went soemthing like the NFL is the golden goose and they don't want to be the one to shoot it. Well Goodell, The NFL owners and players all havetheir guns pointed, and are looking down the scope right now. Which one is gonna be the dumb@$$ to pull the trigger?

I'm not bored basketball is more than satisfying my early summer fix. After NBA is done it's time to enjoy summer. I won't be bored til it's the Sunday after labor day and there is no football.

Isn't June and July typically time off for players anyways? They don't have any activities for like 5-6 weeks before training camp.
