Always liked the dude. He had the heart but he just didnt have the arm or legs to be a legit starter in the league. I hope he does well as a coach. Being a bay area guy does anyone know if he grew up a Niners fan?

Newton is already getting some instruction from Ken Dorsey(notes), the one-time member of the San Francisco 49ers who played under Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski at the University of Miami.
This one definitely caught me off guard, but I guess Dorsey maybe able to provide some insight into Chudzinski's offense.
to be fair, Ken Dorsey was 38-2 at Miami. he must have done SOMETHING right
Yeah, be surrounded by the most NFL talent ever. Funny how we ended up with the only 2 dudes on that team that were terrible, him and Bumph.

funny thing, that game almost went into OT I think score was 30-28 or something. Dorsal Fin actually played decent that game (except that throw) that seattle team went to the super bowl that year.

Dangerous throw, but it looks like 84 either gave up or slipped up.

84 was Cedrik wilson (he spelled it with a "k" right) Nah, that was Bryan Gilmore he was 84 in 2005-2006, that dude never did much. This play was the 2-point attempt if I remember correctly.

It was a good decision, only Dorsey threw it a little early. But the better decision would have been Maurice Hicks open on a dump off.

Dorsey is a back-up in the CFL for Toronto. He is on twitter too, but rarely tweets anymore
