this could have been us...........................
Yeah right. We would have ruined Rodgers career. Guy is probably counting his blessings every day that we didn't draft him.
It's like coming out of college and getting recruited by Goldman Sachs vs Del Taco.
who knows. maybe rodgers has the mental ability to deal with all the adversity and actually may have saved mike nolan's career?
....which is why i said "could have" and not "would have"
I don't know if Montana could save Nolans career but who knows. People under estimate how terrible our coaching, game preparation, and over all organization has been the last 8 years. Forget about Alex or Aaron etc...rabbit holes deeper than that. But I mean yeah...who knows.
you don't need to remind me about the coaching. but alex's tentativeness also played a role. rodgers has that "f*ck it" attitude that may have made the difference.
but this is a topic that's been discussed up/down/left/right/and backwards, let's just agree to disagree.
No I totally agree Rodgers is better and we'd be "better off"...but not this good. That's all I'm saying.
Maybe if we had also made McCarthy head coach instead of Nolan and drafted rodgers

Are the bears actually going to score in this game?

Fair or not, the image of Cutler taking himself out of this game could be one he struggles to live down for a long time.

Not unless they fumble the ball forward about 60 yards

No. Their offense is twice as bad today as it was under Rex Grossman.

I'm sorry, but if people didn't see this coming, they're just not paying attention. The bears cake walked into this game.
