So was Mooch

Come on...the chance to get a guy like Gruden or Cower running that Colts team? It'd be like when Phil Jackson was brought to LA.

wasnt john york upset with mooch during the 2002 season and that it was pretty much a giving even if we made the playoffs and won a game he would be gone regardless?? if that was the case it wasnt surprising, just more so john york being a complete dumbass for firing mooch and replacing him with erickson

Cowher, maybe, but you don't bring Gruden into Indy. What's he gonna do? Change Peyton's offense?

Get em over the hump. Just like Dungy's Bucs.

Dungy's team was all about the D. They only gave up like 13 points a game. All that team needed was a halfway decent offense to make it work. The strength of Indy is the offense.

I don't think they get rid of Caldwell, though.
they won a superbowl and lost one last year

the hump/hurdle was cleared
The fact next year could be a holdout year i think it limits teams move and they look inside their organisation
Here are my guesses

49ers : Sing OUT Harbaugh IN

Minnesota : Childress OUT Frazier IN

Dallas : Phillips OUT Garrett IN

Cleveland : Mangini OUT Gruden IN (works with Holmgren that will not land his dream job in SF)

Cincinnati : Lewis OUT Billick IN (they go offense as they sputtered with names like OC TO palmer but would he accept to replace his past DC ?)

Carolina : Fox OUT Mornhinweg IN (develop next QB, they start from sractch so no big name coach there i assume)

Denver : McDaniels OUT Cowher IN (it is the weakest division, do not face steelers and bellichick/ryan on a year basis, fan base + team history attracts him)

Miami : Sporano OUT Brian Schottenheimer IN (they try to weaken a division opponent btw) or Cowher (likes what's in place, good talent but strong division could lesser his impact on results)

Probably staying :
Tennesse : Fischer
Houston : Kubiak
Jacksonville : Del Rio

Are you out of your mind? We'll have a GM and HC by this Sunday.

I thought this thread was gonna be about the Rooney Rule. :/

Mike Holgren intends to have a full process, not just applying the Rooney Rule, in finding the next coach of the Browns.
