So, the "most powerful man in sports" can't get the owners (who voted him as commish) and the players union to meet. He has continued to screw with the NFL's rules and has IMO done an awful job.

Should he resign if there is no 2011 season?

I really haven't liked him from day one... for every good thing he has done there has been a bad thing. That being said right now he is my best friend compared to De Smith.

- cracked down on concussions(which is the single best thing hes done, unless you like watching players die at 45 from depression)
cracked down on conduct and i think the results of that have been huge too.
- moved the first round of the draft to primetime


What has he done wrong? Im against the 18 game season but that probably wont happen anyways. Hes not the problem in this labor dispute, the owners and players are. hes just a figure head for the owners.

All I know is that right now Goodell doesn't look great... but he still looks A LOT better than the PA and D Smith.

Isn't that something that has to be collectively bargained over?

I understand the players wanting to get the best deal possible but the NFLPA is being completely unreasonable and wanted a lockout so fans like us would pressure the NFL and it's owners to take a poor deal, again. We the fans are going to lose because I expect to only have a partial season :(

Vick was suspended only the 07 season and 2 games in 09 and spent all of 2008 in jail. Stallworth was convicted of only of second degree manslaughter and suspended 16 games. Nice job with the spin bro.

If Goodell hasnt 'done anything on his own', what is he supposed to do? I have no idea what kind of point you are trying to make, I dont know if you know either though.
