The NFL has collective amnesia over San Diego's 8-8 record 2 years ago. They also forget that they beat the Colts in the playoffs.

I do; San Diego won their division at 8-8 in 2008 and actually won a playoff game. Wouldn't you like the chance to do that?

San Diego actually has a real QB

No. There is no amnesia and there is really no comparison.

San Diego sandwiched records of 14-2 and 11-5 the previous 2 years and a 13-3 record in 2009 with that 8-8 record in 2008. You sustain a record of high success like that over the years, few would question the validity of your status as a deserving and legit playoff contender, even with an 8-8 record.
