If I had a choice it would be Holmgren at GM and Gruden as HC. Holmgren is probably too old to coach and/or be HC/GM. Gruden isn't really that great at scouting talent so I think the two would work well together. Holmgren cleans house and makes some trades for solid vet players and Gruden does the rest. I would allow Holmgren to have say in how the offense is ran. They could work together on the WCO. Also, we might be better off going back to the 4-3. Gruden isn't great at developing QBs either... he likes to stock pile veterans. It would be nice if Holmgren would be there with him to help develop the QBs or help Gruden out. Not sure that would happen because very few GMs are involved in on the field happenings but we could go outside the box. Still, not sure if Gruden would be ok with taking orders from anyone. If he comes back he might want full control of everything.

Basically, too sum that up Gruden is the guy who can take a solid veteran team the rest of the way. Holmgren can build a team but he is up there in age. I think GM would be a better job for him because it's less stressful and demanding. That's why I think the two would work well together.
