7 out of 12 2009 Playoff teams lose in week 1

is this a big deal?

not yet. half the league loses in the first week. teams with high expectations are just scrutinized more.

Last season the 49ers, Giants, Falcons, Broncos all came out of the gates strong (blowing the s**t out of their division rivals/making an early statement) and were SQUASHED like bugs by weeks 3-6 and they finished their seasons with mediocre records.

This happens every year, this year those teams will be: Chiefs, Seahawks, Dolphins, and Redskins.

Seriously, by week 14 the 49ers, Chargers, Falcons, Cowboys, and Bengals will be inches away from settling division foes and wrapping up playoff births. (Because unlike their division rivals, they're all teams that heat up during the mid-season grind, and get s**t done towards the end).

Make it stop, none of those teams were blow out by more than 3 tds. We didn't have just a loss we were humiliated, and then started pointing fingers, a complete meltdown. You can't compare us to any of those other teams.

Yeah but to they get house by a below average team and take the worst beating of the week as we did? We got manhandled worse than the Bengals did.
