In the interests of keeping this thread on topic (and the lawyer confined to one thread) I'm going to stick with confining my comments to Shaun Hill.
I was quite critical of the decision to bench Hill and start Alex. Yes -- I know of his shortcomings. I know of his supposedly "noodle" arm (although that last pass was a thing of beauty). But he did lead us to a 3-1 start. A 3-1 start -- I might add -- that would have been 4-0 had our defense managed to hold a lead against the Vikes.
Instead -- we all know what happened. He had a bad game against Atlanta and a bad half against Houston and was benched -- never to see the field as a Niner QB again. To add insult to injury -- he was then dumped on Detroit for a meaningless 7th round draft pick.
Now -- imagine this: Hill rises from the ashes to lead a Detroit team to the promised land of the playoffs.
Imagine further -- if you will -- Aaron Rodgers leading the Packers into the playoffs.
A Niner castoff and a Niner "could-have-been" in the playoffs while the Niners stumble to another lost season.
I think that would deliver a strong and final message: We're cursed.

The curse of Shaun Hill lives!
Every team he will be on for the rest of his career, the starte will go down with a shoulder seperation, so he can start and cause a QB competition.

Big difference there, Matt Stafford IS actually better than Shaun Hill, unlike His last teammate.

sucks! It would be cool if the Lions could get out of the nfl cellar. Especially since two of my favorite cal bears, Jahvid Best and Zack Follett are on the team

To make it worse, it was hardly a hit. He was simply tackled from behind as he was scrambling and then he landed on the shoulder.

They're both Georgia Bulldogs. Knowshown Monroe has had a fare share of injuries on the Broncos as well. Maybe something in the water down in Georgia.

Adam Schefter confirms Shaun Hill is starting Sunday for Lions.
Shaun recovered quick from his broken arm. Must have been all that fishing rehab.
