With all the damage he has done to the 49ers over the years I would love to see him hang around one year too many and really suck. I am not evil enough to want to see him hurt, just have a 45.7 QB rating for the season and the Vikings go in the tank.

No Vikings are stupid enough not to draft any QB. They pass many opportunity from Clausen to at least McCoy. Now they have no QB to groom. All they have is Tavaris.

Even if he did retire Minnesota would still have spent the entire summer trying to convince him to play.
