jerry rice droped passes in games early in his career. what does that mean???

It means that every single time a WR gets cut from a team for dropping too many passes that the GM responsible is taking a minute risk that he just dropped the next Jerry Rice. Or you can go ahead and keep your struggling players until they turn 50 just to be absolutely sure.

It all means something. Some fans NEED the power to pick and choose what they get to believe means nothing. So that way, you all can continue to cling to the idea you have been clinging onto for about 6 months now, which is that somehow, someway....at least 2 upgrades at OL will appear in 2010 so you can believe the horrible streak will finally end.

So by all means, keep clinging.

Good point But, its still only june and they have not even put on the pads! I still think it's WAY too early to pass judgement. IMHO

Struggling in OTA's is obviously not the final straw, but it is not a good indication either

It's an indication of nothing. As in, you can't possibly determine a player's true abilities without game situations over time.

the judgments being passed aren't even from football experts. Its from reporters who spent there college years learning to write not extrapolate fine details of football.
