Apparently there was a phone call made to the Chargers by the Hawks and that was about it. I seriously doubt that he will be in a Seahawks uniform next season.

Watching the Bills/Colts re-run on NFL network and the bottom line ticker says Seahawks have been granted permission to negotiate contract with Vincent Jackson. Anyone have any more info on this? I think this would suck!

I hope the Seahawks DO sign Jackson. I hope they give him the 50 million he's seeking, then after he flames out after his first season and becomes an even bigger headcase than he is now, then they suffer through years of his dead cap space.
He had an all star supporting cast in San Diego with Rivers, Tomilnson, Gates and a great O-line, Seattle doesn't ANY of that in place there now, so Seattle is the perfect place for failure for him.
