he was a stud, you can never have too many good tackles. hes still young, maybe he just had some legit issues to work out. better than playing s**tty or getting suspended because your head isnt on right. if he wants to come back, theyd be dumb not to take him back unless they have some serious depth, but i dont see it

Anyone remember what Schiano had to say about Davis? Guess Schiano was right. Davis has a serious motivation issue. The perplexing thing is how good Davis is as a player despite the lack of competitiveness.
I would take him back in a second though. He is a really good player, but there would be a lot of strings attached and he would have to be under a weight restriction to play in the ZBS.

When has Davis been caught using PEDs? Mighty strong accusation to be leveling towards a man don't you think? I would take him back then work him into shape and allow him to either compete for a role or trade him for the right price. I'd rather he comes back and play for us though. Dude was dominant at times and he might be reinvigorated coming back after a year off to reflect

Honestly, this isn't a big deal to me. If Davis comes back like expected, the OL is immediately better. We need him.

I wouldn't count on Davis for anything. We need to draft high round quality Oline and bring in a couple quality FAs. If Davis shows back up, then great, but I wouldn't count on him.
