Quentin Groves (born July 5, 1984 in Greenville, Mississippi) is an American football defensive end playing for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers in the Southeastern Conference. Groves was named to the Chuck Bednarik Award, Bronko Nagurski Trophy, and Ted Hendricks Award watchlists for the 2007 college football season. Groves was a sack specialist at Auburn and finished tied for the AU career sack record at 26.

Jacksonville must not have thought highly of Groves considering their need for a pass-rusher. It almost solidifies they will be taking a DE in the first. Either JPP or Morgan

Wow. I kinda wish we got him, just because him and Ginn were both players I wanted the niners draft really badly. It'd be so much fun if we just collected all my favorite draft prospects a few years later, and then turned them into what they should have been.
