Many of the same people who want Donovan McNabb are the ones who are saying Smith couldn't lead us to the Superbowl. So do you think Donovan McNabb, who has NEVER lead the Eagles to a superbowl victory, could lead this franchise (with this ownership, players, and coaching staff) to the 'Ship?
I'm guessing this thread will get locked because speculation isn't allowed in this forum.
He couldn't even lead some very good Eagles teams to a championship, what makes anyone think he could lead the Niners to one? He is a West Coast Offense guy and would have to learn a whole new offense for the first time in his career. Not to mention that I think he is one of the most overrated QB's in the recent history of football.
