I dont want a player who cares more about himself than the team. Owens is that exact definition.

Owens was that exact definition 3 YEARS ago. There's no point in him being a diva at the age of 35 and he knows it. He just wants to win a championship before he retires and wants to retire with the team that brought him in. If he cared more about himself, he wouldn't have been crying about the reporters giving Tony Romo flack now would he? Plus, he hasn't even caused any problems at all in Buffalo. He's a different TO now, bring him home!

As crazy as this sounds the only reason I wold say ya is cause Singletary is not some push over who would let one player run the team oh and if TO stepped out of line Willis would eat him
Im down

Maybe last season I wouldn't have minded him rejoining the team. But at this point I really don't see much upside to signing him at the expense of playing time of our young WR's....

I would love him back. I think he could really show our young recievers work ethic, and how to stay a step ahead with your body. Like Crabtree, Owens is not the fastest but he was the best which he probably learned from Rice. With an established team and Singletary I think it would work. The problem is will T.O. go to another team without a first rate QB to end his career.

just stop it
This isn't an egg incubation chamber, this is a f**king football team. If they can't "develope" with competition or even influence from a future possible Hall of Fame player they are a waste of time. Owens would not stunt the growth of our young receivers at all, he would offer a benefit. Give me a break, you stop.
Yeah, because over his career, TO's influence has been so great on his teammates.

There's a saying..."been there, done that", and it applies to T.O. He may've mellowed in his ripe old age of 36, but he's still T.O. There's a reason teams aren't lining up to sign him...mainly because there are other options that don't include the baggage T.O. has. I'd rather see Zeigler stick on the roster and see what he can do. He may not be a HR hitter, but he'll catch anything close to him.

Owens is one of the greatest 49ers of all time i'd love to have him back.
The only reason I would want T.O is so he could Knock Alex the F*** Out when ever he misses him on a open Play lol. He would be somebody Defenses still have to game plan for and he could still draw some attention away from our weapons Crabs, Vernon, Morgan and was always a good down feel blocker. It will be interesting to see where he does go. You think Owens would step to Coach Sing??? Doubt it Samurai Mike would chop his a$$ down real quick lol Good Luck Terrell!
