Colts Dump Ryan Lilja

IMHO i think it may be wise to sign him, but it's also worth noting he may not want to sign. Just my opinion

so he's not a good run blocker?

will size matter? 30 pounds lighter than Baas who is listed at 330

Rachal is over 300 too, I'll predict we don't go after him

They need a few smaller guys with better footwork.
Still relatively young, mobile guard. He deserves a look.

What if they have already "looked" at him and concluded that he would not fit in the Niners plans?
I know that Peyton was going to have his deal restructured. Maybe their trying to save money so they can give Peyton a fatter contract.

then i would say they have not looked at him. they would have just looked at his size and said no.

According to Scout.com's Adam Caplan, free agent OG Ryan Lilja failed his most recent physical with the Colts.

That explains his release. On top of his knee problems, Lilja was also nursing a back injury the week before the Super Bowl. He may have to accept a one-year offer this offseason to prove that he can stay healthy and effective.
