Has anyone here noticed Jim Caldwell during the Colts games. I am talking about (1) the same facial expression throughout the game like someone took away his favorite toy and more importantly (2) never seeing him talk to anyone on the sidelines or say anything into his headset or show any kind of urgency at all during the game. I kind of wonder if he even coaches at all.

we all know Manning is the real HC. Caldwell is just a figure head.

He made a couple of bad calls yesterday Going for the FG rather than let Peyton go for a short 4th down was huge. Clearly, Payton out coached him and that was the biggest reason for the SB win for the Saints.

QFT
Sean Payton is a huge part of why the Saints won.

Caldwell froze up. Sean Payton is the way better coach.

Jim Caldwell was not out coached. You can't get out coached if you aren't even coaching.

I was thinking the same thing.
That guy is useless.
He didn't even talk the whole time.

To be fair, this was Caldwell's first year as HC.

I was just posting in another thread how so many people cite Peytons role as a positive, I kind of think it is a negative. He wears too many hats.
And yeah, Caldwell is just there as a figure head

Jim Caldwell is like a less-expressive version of Mike Tomlin. -Put this guy on any other team and your yearly expectations will be '2-14'.
What's ironic is that for most of the entire season he's done really nothing to contribute, and just when he starts doing so he FUBARs their perfect season/playoff rhythm.
