Bills to switch to 3-4

Not a good idea IMO. Their front seven is built for the 4-3.

Yep. I wasn't happy when we did it, I like the 4-3 better.
They have a bunch of guys who might be able to play the 5 technique and OLB but they will need to find a NT and the right MLB's for their scheme.
They'll need an NT and they can get one in the draft: Dan Williams.

They really need a LT too. Maybe take Cody in the 2nd and Davis/Williams/Bulaga at 9.

Hey, if they have the kind of success GB had in their first year

Just wondering why teams announce they're goin to switch base defenses? If they dont announce, teams could just keep thinking youre playing 4-3 and come hte start of the season you could surprise some people

They have Marcus Stroud whos been a beast of a DT in the 4-3 whereever hes bean (with the Jags and Bills), Idk if he'll be that good in the 3-4...
They really dont have too great of a LB core...Maybe Maybin will be playing OLB now?

Well, it would cause some confusion for other teams in the draft. Maybe teams should keep quiet about such things

Trade bait...

They will be able to address their NT position since they have an early pick in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills snag Dan Williams.
There's some FA nose tackles available this offseason even in an uncapped year. Casey Hampton, Cody Pickett. Wilfork and Franklyn probally both get tagged but they also could be available.

Schobel, Aaron DE 6-4 243
Denney, Ryan DE 6-7 264
Ellis, Chris DE 6-4 261
Maybin, Aaron DE 6-4 250
Kelsay, Chris DE 6-4 261

Draft, Chris LB 5-11 234
Palmer, Ashlee LB 6-1 236
Corto, Jon LB 6-1 220
Posluszny, Paul LB 6-1 238
Stamer, Josh LB 6-2 242
Ellison, Keith LB 6-0 229
Buggs, Marcus LB 5-10 223
Harris, Nic LB 6-2 232
Mitchell, Kawika LB 6-1 253
Manalac, Ryan LB 6-0 235

Williams, Kyle DT 6-1 306
Harvey, Lonnie DT 6-3 342
Johnson, Spencer DT 6-3 286
Stroud, Marcus DT 6-6 310
McCargo, John DT 6-2 307
Duncan, Rashaad DT 6-2 315
Smith, Marcus DE 6-4 295
Mace, Corey DT 6-3 287

Judging simply by size (not by actual frame or skill sets), they have a lot of bodies who could work at the end spots and at rush linebacker.

Maybin will def. move to rush linebacker, that's what his size and skill set dictates. I'm sure George Edwards will be looking at tape and trying to get a feel for which players could possibly make the transition so they can move forward with roster cuts or dealing others who may have value on the trade market.
