I doubt AZ just settles with lienart .
I can see the following scenarios.
1) Mcnabb - Boldin and a draft pick for Mcnabb
2) Vick - similiar to the prev scenario
3) Bulger - it's a sure thing hel be let go from Rams.
4)Culpepper - very unlikely but his arm would go with AZ system
5) Delhome- he's been raped in Carolina for years now.
Thoughts ?

IDK, McNabb would obviously be the best thing for them but I'm a bit skeptical about the Eagles sending him off for Boldin because they have a good young WR core now. It definitely could happen. I suppose if it was Boldin + a good pick...

I'm pretty sure they're gonna bank on Leinart pulling through.

I can see maybe Vick but you state "similar to prev scenario". Why would Arizona trade Boldin and a draft pick for Vick? That would be ludacris on Arizona's part.

Can't. He's property of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Leinart is going to get his fair shot.
Otherwise, I think the following may contend for backup/competition roles:
Derek Anderson - QB - Browns
- He's shown the ability to at least utilize multiple weapons during his famous year.
Tim Rattay - QB - UFA
- Familiar with the offensive system, and currently is playing in the UFL.
Tony Pike - QB - Draft Choice
- Pike should be available in the late 2nd round, and would continue to excel in a spread-like system that Warner thrived in.
At the same time, the Cards are transitioning to a more run-oriented, alleviating the pressure of obtaining a pro-bowl type QB.

The Eagles said McNabb is their guy already, and wont be traded.
Vick was a gimmick when he was young. hes still a gimmick, and now hes old.
Bulger, Culpepper, and Delhomme are all HORRIBLE, and id love to see them in a Cardinals uniform.

I read somewhere (not too long ago) that McNabb wouldn't be a good fit in AZ. That Leinart has already been there for years and is familiar w/ their system. I hope they don't sign any FA QB and Leinart does start w/ that team. I don't expect Boldin to be there, either. Also, they over-paid for Bulger, is that contract over already?

I also think Leinart will also be given a year. They will probably draft a mid round QB, and they still have that 2nd year guy (or was he a rookie last year...?) that looked decent in his limited play time. the offense will most likely shift towards a run game, therefore they could still be a threat for the division...

Leinart is due $14 million this year. If he is not the starter, they have to cut him at that price. I dont see them cutting him without knowing what he could do first.

Whoa! I didn't know about that. He either takes a pay cut like Smith did or he's outta there.

That's what they said on the radio in PHX yesterday, anyway.
Correction: They just said it again. It's $4 million this year and $14 next year. Sorry about that. Still, they have to know if he is their guy.
