Does anyone feel bad for Brett Favre??

On the other hand, the Saints have never won anything and this is their time to shine. As it is, they're the sentimental favorite to win it all.

It's too bad that there's so much hate for Farve here and I just wonder "What if he were the 49er's QB?" Would he get the credit that he deserves?

He WILL be in the Hall of fame whether or not you folks give him credit for what he's accomplished or not. I DON'T see any current 49er's QB who is better than him RIGHT NOW, and he's how old?

(Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammett)

Good day, how do
And I send a smile to you
Don't waste, waste your breath
And I won't waste my hate on you

Ain't gonna waste my hate
Ain't gonna waste my hate on you
I think I'll keep it for myself

Ain't gonna give no more
Ain't got the time to help you score
I think it's time you pleased yourself... yourself!

Good day, how do
And I send a smile to you
Don't waste, waste your breath
And I won't waste my hate on you

Waste my hate on you

And I... think your worthy now
Think enough to even raise the brow
And to laugh and tip that two pronged crown

When I see my hands, I see my feet
I feel that blood that pumps in beat
But where the hell's my mind goin' now?

Good day, how do
And I send a smile to you
Don't waste, waste your breath
And I won't waste my hate on you

Waste my hate on you

Then I'll keep it for myself
Hate!

Ain't gonna waste my hate
But I'm so greedy when they say
Better to give than to receive

Ain't gonna waste my hate... don't know
Ain't got time to waste my hate on you
I think I'll keep it all for myself... for myself!

Good day, how do
And I send a smile to you
Don't waste, waste your breath
And I won't waste my hate on you

Waste my hate on you

think I'll keep it all for myself
yeah!!

HATE!!!
I live in minnesota, and seeing the disappointment on my 70 year old uncle's face was painful, before the game he made a comment about "now I can die in peace knowing we finally won"

That made me feel bad, as far as Favre, Nah ...he's knocked us out of the playoffs too many times to shed a tear for him
Brad Childress feels bad, but he's dealing with it

The Packers basicly shoved him to the curb, which is their right, and forced him to go to NY instead of Minnesota, which was his choice. As a player, he was treated as property, which he was, but that does not take away from the fact he has a right to seek the best job situation he can.

So yes, even though he made a classic mistake, he will now likely remember that last terrible decision far more than all the many great plays he has made. Without Favre, the Vikings would not have even been in the playoffs, and, without the fumbles by Berrian and Peterson, Favre would not have been in the position of making the mistake that took away the opportunity to kick a game-winning FG.

That is the cruel thing about this game, but I do feel bad for Bret Favre. He deserved to go out a winner

Or maybe it was all Favres fault for throwing an interception at the most important part of the game...the score was 28-28 so Berrian and Peterson hadnt lost the game, they needed a few more yards to get in field goal range, and had he not thrown the INT they would have a decent shot at a game wining FG...But no, the Vikings lost on Favres INT and theres no doubt about that

And why does he deserve to go out a winner? Because he's old and still plays good and it would made a nice story line to end his career? If any thing Drew Brees deserved to be the winner, simply because he was the better quarterback...The Vikings have a more talented team, on both sides of the ball, and they were the better team on Sunday. They should have won. But Bret Favre couldnt get it done. Drew Brees did get it done so he and the Saints deserve to win

Worst post I've ever read. They fumbled 6 times. 6 times! That's why they lost. Not Favre. 12 guys go in the hudle and they lose yards that puts them out of FG range (Epic sideline fail mix up). Also not Favres fault. After all that crap he was just trying to make a play because being at the 40 yard line or so does no good at all.

the play to be made was him just picking up six yards. it's not who deserves it the most. it's who executed better when it really mattered. that's what a qb does, makes your team better than it actually is. favre just didnt execute, he just revereted to his gunslinging ways.

in the end, if you're a professional qb, you accept the fact that you ARE going to be the face of the franchise because what you do in a game affects the outcome greater than any other position.
I feel about as bad as he did all those times he beat us in the post-season.

SUCK IT favre!

why would you feel bad, wasn't his check 12 million bucks this year? why in the hell would you feel bad for a 12 million dollar loser, who btw knocked the crap out of the niners in post seasons past...hope he keeps his ass on the ground this time. loved watching him get his old ass knocked out.

Favre's Bank Account --> My Bank Account

my status on my interoffice communicator says "HAHA Brett Favre"
I, once upon a time, liked Favre. Now he's the ultimate in doucheyness (sp?).
