Well I think if Johnson gets in the 2000+ range, he has a good shot. Hell, he should get it IMO. But I got a feeling it will be Drew Brees.

Since the MVP is Most VALUABLE Player, i think Chris Johnson is more valuable to the Titans then Favre to the Vikings, heck didnt Minnesota win 12 games last year with Frerotte at QB?
U don't think Manning n Brees are more valuable to their teams?

I think Manning is the most valuable, easily. Not only is he the QB, he's essentially the OC too.

honestly, I would seriously consider Rivers. He has no run game, and a pretty soft defense

Agreed. Before this week it was a toss-up for me between Manning, Brees and Favre with CJ closely behind. Now it looks with the way Favre has been playing these last few weeks he's fallen to 4th and probably shouldn't be in the discussion anymore.
IMO it's now a 3 man race between Manning, Brees and CJ with Manning sitting comfortably in the lead. Even when Manning has a bad game(against us) he found a way to win. Brees IMO faltered on the national stage against the Cowboys at home. Chris Johnson still deserves a lot of consideration if the Titans somehow find a way to make the playoffs.
Another name that hasn't been mentioned is Desean Jackson as a dark horse. He's been huge for the Eagles this year and if they somehow pass the Vikings for a first round bye should get some serious consideration.
