I wonder if this stems from him spending so much time with the WR group the last two offseasons.

I think that hit put some fear in VD. On Sound FX or NFL turning point you can hear Crabtree talking to VD saying "I got hit harder than you, you aint going to make another play"

lol are you serious?!

Lol.... I just watched it again. I recorded it last night. Crabtree said it
Asked VD "you aint going to make another play"? When VD came to the sidelines after that hit by Kam.

That doesn't surprise me given their relationship over the past years. They're not buddies. I wonder if VD somewhat enjoyed the CB from Seattle calling Crabtree mediocre?

Three things besides Vernon stood out.

Gore really has slowed down when he breaks into the open.

The hit Spencer laid on Kitna would draw a flag today.

I miss Holmgrens Seahawks

Sad.

Yep I sure do miss the 2006 Vernon who was selfish and underachieving on the football field.

and had the s**ttiest hands in the world, T.O. woulda been proud
1:57 in, Davis believes that curling requires more strategy than football

He also thinks if Gire knew how to curl he'd be the best Niner at it
Best blocking TE in the NFL. That's why the 49ers are always up there in Rushing offense.

This was quoted from an interview with VD this morning on ESPN show "Mike & Mike" about his involvement with U.S. Curling, etc. His responses about the MARTIN-INCOGNITO thing were basically his way of saying "I'm not touching that with a 10-ft pole."

Fixed
NO OFFENSE... But i just dont believe that we are using V. Davis at his full potential... This guy is a beast and could easily be a all time Niner great... we need to use him much more... Open the play book more for him?
