Not my dude. Maybe yours.
dafuq he the greatest niner TE of all time.
Better than Brent Jones?
f**k no.
Check the stats. Jones just lucky he played with HOF qbs.
The flip side is David has played in an era FAR more conducive to passing stats than Jones did. Yeah Davis faster and more athletic, scored 20-something more TDs and had marginally more rec/yds, but the guy also dogged it at times out on the field, would jump to chest-catch instead of using his hands, many times would just give up on a pass, and was one of the guys who basically quit during the 2014 season. Those latter things you could never say about Brent Jones, who besides his heart and desire was a great TE. This is a case where stats just don't tell the story...I don't know how anyone who watched both these guys play could say Davis was better.

Saw him today in the parade in Denver… sitting on a firetruck in the back all by himself. Good for him, but the trade was pretty good as well.

Lmfao. I don't think I could ever bring myself to wear that ring if I were him.

Lol the Colts gave edgerrin James a ring after their 2006 season even though he left to play for the Cardinals after the 2005 season.

The weirdest thing about Davis in Denver was that he would always start games but then go MIA after the first drive. Only getting back in the game for a couple blocking plays. Seriously had like 1 target and 0 catches in the last 5 games with them and the target was on a "run deep and ill toss it to you" play which he wasn't open. Manning was less than a shell of his former self but VD has fallen off big time. Don't ever think he fully recovered after Cam blew him up.
Side note: the Parade was fun though, would fly back to the bay area in an instant to experience it again for a team I actually care about. But who knows when that will be

his stats after that game (the remainder of the season, including playoffs):
48 catches, 786 yards, 13 TD's
so if that isn't fully recovering... i mean literally any team would jump at those numbers for their TE. he lost something since then, but it had nothing to do with that hit (he has been blown up before that)

It's ok Vernon, if FA doesn't work out for you, you always have Jamba Juice to fall back on

Why shouldn't he wear one? Russell Wilson has a Super Bowl ring. He has Beastmode in the backfield and one of the best Defenses ever assembled. Russell Wilson has ZERO Championships without all that help. Believe that.
That's always the way it is. You benefit from the OVERALL team you are on. That's always the way it is throughout all history.
What a surprise a QB or a TE for that matter benefits from being on a great team. Why should that surprise anybody? That's what it is for all 50 Super Bowls. Great teams win.
