Sorry, have to chuckle at this...Vance has been doing this day 1 but everyone hated him b/c he wasn't used in the passing game and when he wasn't the primary receiver (cold), he'd drop balls. But here is VD, adding next to nothing in the passing game and being given credit for blocking. LMAO.

Vernon Davis made an impact by leading the entire NFL in receiving TDs and leading the 49ers for both TDs and receiving yards multiple times.

Raise the bar a little. I am not going to get giddy over Vance not dropping all of the passes that get thrown his way or by Celek's career high (college and NFL) 186 yards.

Also I have a hard time believing that Davis wouldn't have done better under Gabbert at QB rather than Kaep.
