What's with all the old bands lately.
Tom Petty a few years ago, wasn't it The Boss last year?

Radiohead, Green Day, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters.
That's just rock bands off the top of my head, you could throw in individual singers and rap artists.

The Who doing the Super Bowl halftime show is pretty surprising news to me. They have always been portrayed as being the ultimate anti-establishment band in the entire World and now they are performing at arguably the zenith establishment/corporate event in the World. It kind of reminds me of the line from Boys of Sumer by Don Henley:
Out on the road today, I saw a DEADHEAD sticker on a Cadillac
A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back"

Im pretty sure they are trying to play it safe because it has been all older groups and bands since the Janet incident. But, they can do that by having a band or bands of this generation playing. Is the lingerie bowl gonna be aired this year? lol.I rather watch that at halftime.
