He may have something left but it won't happen with that bad OL in Buffalo.
Still, the combination of his drops and attitude will make it hard for him to hook on with a legit playoff contender unless their #1 gets hurt, in that case he might be able to play a little.
Too bad. He had great talent but never fully exploited it. He should have gone to the HOF but I doubt he will ever get the votes to go in.

Not a chance.
He would be a #1 for most teams.

trent edwards wasn't half bad last year.. maybe it's an o-line problem like the niners?
IIRC, they started 3 rookies on the O-line vs the Jets.
TO = last legs
Next yr = his last?

I have no soft spot whatsoever, he begged his way out and ruined the team in the process. Screw him. And yes, he's finished.

T.O. managed to singlehandedly destroy the proud 49ers franchise. We're still digging our way out of the grave that this scumbag dug for us, then pushed us into, laughing insanely while throwing dirt on our corpse.
I predicted he'd never win a Super Bowl. Looks like I'm right -- at least -- he won't win a ring as a player. His best chance to win one was right here with Jeff Garcia. And he helped blow it all up.
lol
He didnt cut Jeff Garcia
He didnt get Mooch fired
He didnt hire Erickson
That was all John York.
I love Mooch as a person, but he was an awful head coach.

lots of "unnamed" sources in that article.... that usually happens when the Media is reporting on Owens...... not saying that writer is out to get Owens, because I have seen worse....but still, lots of unnamed sources.
T.O. is in a bad situation......but the Bills's season is not over yet...I believe they are 2-4 and just beat the Jets.....and MarShawn got his first game out the way....so lets see how they do......
also, I didn't like how Ryan Fitspatrick played when Edwards went down.... I think they should bring someone else in.....
if it was Afrikan in charge, Rattay would be there throwing Bombs to T.O. and Evens next week......but Afrikan is no GM..
so realistically, Damon Huard should get a call....I think he would do a better job than Fitspatrick................and of course Rattay would do better than both of them

Trent Edwards is no slouch. The bills started the season with like 2 or 3 rookies on their line.
Since then, players from their Oline have gotten hurt.
Owens and Edwards are not to blame.

Good point about Lynch, too. That 3 or 4-game suspension negatively affected their ability to execute their game plan. (negatively affected my Fantasy team, too.)

I believe T.O. is still physically talented enough to play a big factor for a good team. If New England or Green Bay or New York (Giants) signed him next year I bet his numbers would look closer to T.O. of old. I'm not sure how many years he still has in the tank though.

Serves him right to have to waste his last years in crummy Buffalo.
He's on pace for 40 catches, 573 yards, and almost 3 TD's.

This is TO's home! Despite what happened he gave evrything he got for the organization. I would rather have his attitude of give me the ball, I want to win! than we are a family and we are doing our best to win.

I hope he is done. He had one GREAT Hall of Fame type game in his career. One really lucky catch on a ball that shouldn't have been thrown to him and has lead the league in multiple years in drops. One of the most overrated receivers in NFL history.
