His accuracy is mind-boggling and his poise was outstanding last night on that game-winning drive. He doesn't play well in the playoffs but I always wonder if he had a better defensive team would he have won more in the playoffs.
Poor poor little Peytons days of making it back to the big dance the superbowl are over with. I saw this one coming a mile away.It was obvious from the season opener and in what will probably be his last game with the donkeys that he was not the same quarterback thie year from last year and age had finally caught up with him.I watched that opener and a lo of his throws deep down the field were way off target. He obviously could not throw the ball deep down the field accurately anymore.
There was never a doubt in my mind last year he would have a bad game and they would get blown out.He is a clone of Dan Marino.someone who gets scared in the big games and panicks.I knew he would screw up cause had not faced a defense all year long anything like the seahawks whose toughest test of the year last year was against us.they even said reluctantly after the superbowl, that the donkeys were not the toughest team they had faced last year, that it was our 49ers who gave them the most problems in the NFC title game.
Manning always chokes when he faces top notch competition. He did it in college,he did it in the pro's. lets look at the one superbowl he won.who did it come against? the bears.a team that was carried that far by their defense and special teams. well their luck ran out on them that day when their special teams could not score big plays for them in kickoffs and punt returns.their defense was on the field all day long making them ineffective because their offense had so many three and outs that day.the reason their offense has so mnay three and outs that day was rex grossman finally showed his true colors in the superbowl that he was not that good a quarterback constantly missing throws that were way off target.
what quarterback did manning beat that day? a journeyman has been back up now.
Now lets look at who the two quarterbacks were when he lost both times.
Drew Brees a future hall of famer and Russel Wilson, another future hall of famer I guarantee.I saw Wilson in a preseason game before he made his first regular season start and I understood immediately right there why carrol chose him as the starter over then acquired matt Flynn with his play.He made some plays that made my jaw drop open and I said back then-this guy is amazing,he is going to be a future hall of famer.Man that so much pisses me off the niners overlooked him and we are stuck with kappy who is a clone of kordell stewart.like stewart,a brief flash in the pan.

last year it would have been yeah. The donkeys had a better defense this year than last year with their additions making them more physical no doubt which disguised mannings bad play at times so that's why they were able to win as many games as they did but it was one year too late.manning needed that defense last year when he still had the physical tools to compete to win it all last year. This year was too late for him.

oh really? I saw this playoff loss coming a mile away, did not surprise me at all.got to remember the colts just barely lost to them early in the season opener.I knew they would make their adjustments and win this time.manning showed signs in the game against the bungles he was not the same quarterback from last year.they could not use rain as an excuse either because Dalton had to play in the same conditions and he was just fine.plus the bungles did everything they could to try and give the donkeys that game and they STILL could not win.saw this playoff loss coming a mile away.
