He is a terrific defensive coordinator. He was just never meant to be a head coach.

Because his team held the pitiful Bungles to one TD? Please.

He took over a team that gave up almost 30 points per game last season.
Holding any team in the NFL to single digits is a notable accomplishment, let alone one featuring Carson Palmer and Chad Ochocinco.

Did you watch the final drive?
Big nickle the whole way down.
When the game was on the line he called a chicken s**t defense.

Might I remind you it was a Carson Palmer that was seeing his first action of the season after a brutal injury ridden season before. I'll give props for a good game plan and execution, but by no means was it a dominant performance. The bungles crapped all over themselves.
Let me ask you this. Do you think the Seahawks are as good as they looked today, or was it because the were playing the rams?

Except that I'm not making the judgment that Mike Nolan is a good defensive coordinator off this game alone. Mike Nolan proved his worth as a D-Coordinator a long time ago. That's how he got the 49ers job.

Seven points that would have won the game!
Nolan did every thing wrong on that final drive.
He was bringing blitzes everywhere the whole game. But when the game was on the line, he called the boys off and brought out his nickle D that we are all very familiar of.
Just like we had to endure, playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

Yeah, you're reaching. The Bengals had one productive drive.
What did you expect the Broncos to shut them out?
