He meant it drops us down in the draft by like 8 picks or so.

If Carolina wins again they'll be 8-8 and there are like 13 teams who could wind up with that record. Because their strength of schedule is so strong they'll end up picking at the end of all those 8-8 teams.

We need the Saints to win this game more than anything. We'd end up possibly picking around 18-20 if they don't beat Carolina.
