They are ok on D, good running game with 2 new starters on the O line. Passing game sucks and it looks like they have the toughest schedual in the NFL.

They just lost to the Eagles at home. They are playing Atlanta in Atlanta this week and then have Dallas in week 3. They also play Atlanta again (Division game), the Saints twice, Bucks twice, the Giants, Redskins, Jets, Pats, Bils, Phins, Arizona, and the Vikes.

I say they win 3 games.

That would be down right crazy if we ended up with the #1 overall pick in the 2010 draft. If the Panthers continue to play the way they did Sunday we just might.

But what should we do if we did end up with the #1 overall pick, trade down?? What do you think???

I think we should trade up and get a pick in the top 15 and a 2nd round pick. That would give us 2 2nd rounders as well. We can still get 1 of the top 3 QB's in the top 15, get a OT with the other 1st rounder and get a NT and LB with our 2nd round picks.

eric berry is who we should pick. hes the most talented player available imo, and we could really use a guy like him next to goldson for the next 10 years.

I would wait and see what Colt McCoy does first. QB is a greater need than FS. Shaun Hill is not the future even if we want to believe it. There are not many great FA QB's next year so I believe depending on McCoy's performance then we should look at him. HE is mobile, very accurate, and a leader. I love Eric Berry and would hate to pass him up but if McCoy is there then we should probally get him. We need to win games and McCoy gives us that chance. I would not be upset if we picked up Berry first and then Jevan Snead later in the 1st. That would be a great scenario.
Im hoping i read it wrong... But did someone just suggest Eric Berry with the 1st overall?!

trade down and get 3 1st round picks.

i hope they give us a top 5 pick so we can pick berry

I am all for trading down, unless we have a shot at Berry!
I predict a 4-12 record for the Carolina Panthers this season. That should make their (our ) draft pick a top 5. Top 10 for sure.

I'm starting to like Berry even more, now that I saw the replay of that UCLA game. Seems pretty good in coverage, great closing speed and range, hes exactly what we need on our secondary.

But if we ended up with the #1 overall or even a top 5 pick, I'd trade down but within the top 10 to acquire Berry, Dez Bryant or Trent Williams. Hopefully for another 2nd and 4th and 2011 3rd I think I'd be happy with.
