Considering what has happened to Smith, Leinert, Young, Couch, Carr, Akili Smith, Harrington
How is it a bad trade for the Bears? Instead of drafting a possible NFL starter at QB, they get a 25 year old pro bowl QB
This is what the Bears have been missing for decades now
It's good for them that they fixed their QB position for the next 8 years or so. But they have a lot of holes. (RB, WR) (entire defense). Now with the big contracts of Urlacher, Briggs, Cutler (soon), they better hit homeruns in their draft with very few high picks for the forseeable future. I'm not sure how this is gonna work out, but it'll be interesting to watch.
I'm pretty sure their running game will be ok. forte turned out to be pretty good right??
You're right, totally forgot about him. Their OL may still suck though, unless their 1st rounder last year recovers and plays well.
