The draft is coming. Are you honest or not?

Only been looking properly the last two years but;

I picked Malik McDowell in the 2nd, Josh Reynolds in the 4th & Channing Stribling for the Chargers in last year's mock, thought I'd nailed their draft, but nope!

Thought Deshaun Watson would be a bust, thought Corey Davis would be a stud.

Personally I thought:

Glen coffee was a good RB.
LaMichael James was a solid pick.
Rashaun Woods was a good WR.
Giovanni Carmazzi (Walsh liked him),
Taylor mays too.

I doubt many will join me but I hope you do.

It's ok to be wrong.

I thought Alex Smith was going to be a better QB than Rogers.

I thought Michael Crabtree was going to be a world beater for us.

Oh what could have been.
I thought Dorial Green-Beckham was gonna be a beast.
I thought Jalen Ramsey would be a tweener- bust 🤦‍♂️

I thought Christian Ponder would be the best QB in the draft.

Thought Joey Bosa would be a major flop.
I thought Jake Locker was gonna be a stud, big reason why inaccurate qbs are such a no go for me now. If we were still searching for a qb and we chose Allen from this group I'd be bummed
I thought Vince Young, Michael Bishop, and Seneca Wallace were going to be great.

I thought Cam Newton was going to bust.

I thought Andre Carter would be a HOF'er.

I thought Reggie McGrew would be a good player.

I thought RW McQuarters would be a stud.

Oh, all of these! Although I wasnt sure about Woods and I was totally hysterical about Crabtree. Latimore was a huge disappointment for me.

I was super high on Ponder felt so validated when the Vikings drafted him fairly early first round

I thought Chris Owusu would become a starting WR in the NFL.

I liked Kareem Hunt but i didn't love him, never thought he could be nearly as versatile and explosive. Also under estimated him coming out of a smaller school.

One of my biggest draft crushes ever was CJ Spiller, still think he could have been so much better had he been drafted into a better situation.

You aren't the only one bro. He looked solid beating the Rams and head butting Greene with no helmet. lol

This. I was ready to buy his jersey. Would look GREAT hanging there with my Woods jersey.

Oh, and don't let me forget Mike Rumph, R.W. Mcquarters, Glen Coffee, and Kevan Barlow.

Going through some of my old mocks/posts...

Thought Gator Hoskins was the next Delanie Walker.
Anyone remember Elvis Akpla? Didn't think so....
Christian Bryant...
Knile Davis...
Jalen Saunders...

Thats just a few. I did have some substantial hits though as well looking back that not everyone had on their radar, so i feel OK about it. I have mocks going back to 2012. Im sure i had some prior to that as well, but i had a different user name at one point that i cant remember, and then lost login info when i didn't log in for over a year.

I thought Alshon Jeffery would continue to halfass his way through stuff in the NFL and be a middling receiver at best.

I thought Quinton Patton would at least be a solid #2 WR.

I believed that Terrence Cody would develop into a dominant NT in the NFL.

Those are the first ones off the top of my head.

I remember Phoenix bashing Jeffrey because he looked fat on the SI cover lol.

I was high on him. First round grade.

I liked Fleener as well.

You sold me on Patton, i remember draft day he bought his own plane ticket to SF, and when he showed up they were like nah kid you cant do that, lol. I fell in love with him that day. Shame he could never get his head straight and put it all together. I think it was all mental with him.
