Guys that get a crisp hard break at the top of the stem can always get separation for a step or two that way, and it's money when the QB delivers on the break... this is what I see with Fitzpatrick, sticks the break clean and separates, best in the draft... it's not something that is learned easily it seems to be something you can do or not... he will make a steady living in the NFL

Hey MD, it seems like every year there is a guy projected as a top-10 pick in a lot of mocks that falls much later, if not out of the 1st round completely. Who do you feel has the biggest chance of that happening to him this year?

DJ Moore and Michael Gallup and Miller are my next three-all are solid route runners.
I learned a valuable lesson by picking Cooper Kupp in my personal draft last year; He wasn't the most athletic, wasn't the most dynamic, but was always wide open. And, he was awesome last year. I am sticking to that formula.
This is also why I have some guys that are lower on my board. If they have a limited route tree, I don't see much chance for success in the future.
I have Sutton as fifth on my board. I love the size and speed, and 3 cone time, but guys that have fewer catches than other teammates is a red flag to me. Trey Quinn had more receptions, and he will be drafted at least 3 rounds later.
Sutton was the top SMU receiver in 2016, but second in 2017. Teams were likely keying on Sutton giving Quinn more room, but both years Sutton averaged 16 or more yards per catch. Quinn averaged 10 yards per catch. Not arguing, you have him in at 24 which is fair, but I believe Sutton will likely become a very good red zone receiver, and an overall good receiver. My favorite thing to watch with a receiver is how they attack the ball in the air. Some guys take the ball, others allow the ball to come to them. I prefer aggressive guys. Miller is another guy who seem almost vicious in going for the ball. If they don't take a receiver in the first then Miller in the second would be nice.

what the heck happened to Jared Abbrederis! Was my favorite route runner, went to the best place for WR, with an elite QB, and nothing :/
That one really surprised me

I think most guys are pretty dialed in on the first ten picks. Of the guys I think will fall the most, it is probably Fitzpatrick. But, I don't think he has any chance of going below 14. Since we don't have access to medicals, it is hard to know who might have some medical red flags. We know it isn't LVE because his medicals have become public.
Rahsaan Evans might be a guy that drops to the mid second. That wouldn't surprise me at all

He was dinged up a lot and simply didn't get things to fall his way. Really good college player. Always killed my Buckeyes

So I really would love what you do and I like that you do it every year. My only question this year is it's pretty well-known that's a quan Barkley and quit and Nelson are the biggest talents in this draft. Why do you have them after quarterback because even positional wise those quarterbacks are probably Kirk Cousins level Max compared to elite players at the NFL level

This is not a best board but a projection of where I thjnk they will be drafted
