Jaguars
Bills
Vikings
Saints
ALL of these teams could easily take a QB early. Several are already slotted to draft in the top 10. That would make the cost of trading up...even within the top 10 EXTREMELY expensive. Let the bidding begin.
If you want to look at the RG3 trade, Goff trade and Wentz trade as comparisons...be sure to add additional compensation to adjust for the increased demand in 2018.
lol, i like how we came up with pretty much the same teams. Crazy how many teams could be looking for another QB for 2018
If this is the case I'd nickel and dime everyone! Swap with giants. See who calls us at 3. Swap again to 4? We could take a guy we still would have wanted anyways and pickup like 3-5 extra picks easy. We could really trade like crazy, but at some point you gotta take a player lol
If Lynch can trade down twice and still have us in position to draft Ridley, Chubb, or Nelson, while grabbing multiple extra picks. He probably going to go down as a god on the webzone.
yep! we could probably score two extra 1st round picks for 2019 if we play our cards right and hope that the QBs kill it at the combine.

I don't see Nelson or Ridley available after say the 10th pick so it would be crazy but possible if Lynch pulled off 2 trades getting 2 1st round picks, I'm just hoping for a trade back to about 7th and taking Nelson or Ridley while receiving a 1st next year and recoup the 2nd they traded for Jimmy G..that would be a win in my eyes..

I wouldn't feel comfortable falling below 6th honestly. I don't want there to be any chance that we miss out on Ridley.

Had a similar list in another thread. This really could be huge. I never thought about trading down twice, but still being in the top 10. That would be epic. I wonder if somehow we could pull off drafting Harold Landry as well. It would be the longest of longshots, but there is a small chance considering some of the top-10 teams already have good/great/elite pass rushers. It's not likely, but if somehow Landry slips out of the top-10, you have to wonder what they will do. It really all depends on what kind of haul we can get for the top pick. I'm hoping some other first round pass rushers emerge that can play RE and possibly SAM as well.

I don't see why Cleveland wouldn't be interested in 1 and 2 if they like Rosen or Darnold. Qb and Barkley would at least give them something to sell to the fan base.

I'm thinking the same here. If they're 1 and we're 2, trading for our 2 they would get the top 2 players and get quality over quantity which hasn't been working for them.

Jets, Broncos and Dolphins look promising. Still think Jaguars might give up a bunch to get a QB for those looking at 2nd trade downs.

Good call. Moving down between 7-10 with teams in dire need of a franchise QB means the Niners can ask for a premium to move up. Taking someone like Fitzpatrick or James at DB, or Nelson at OG or Harold Landry at OLB at that point plus the draft haul would be amazing.

I don't get why the Vikings are on everybody's list. The Vikings are 8-2 and have 3 QBs. Last game Teddy Bridgewater played - after leading the team to the playoffs in his rookie year - he led the game winning drive in the last minute to beat the Seahawks in his first ever playoff game. Oh yeah, their kicker shanked the short field goal to seal the win. Teddy's the backup right now to a red hot Keenum. I don't know if Bradford's a FA but they were paying him a bunch.
Long story short, they're not drafting a QB.

I don't understand why anyone wants Chubb - he's a strong side DE, not a fit at LEO or SAM. If we trade back and still land Barkley, Nelson, or Ridley, that's a huge win in my opinion.
Those are my top 3 to land after a trade back too, drafting 1 of them and getting a 1st next yr and a 2nd this yr would be amazing..Barkley might be unrealistic in a trade back tho..
We don't hesitate and take Barkley at 2 or trade down to 3. No way he lasts beyond 3 picks. Rosen, Darnold, and Barkley are going consecutively in that order.

Still 6 games to go...a lot can happen that can effect the drafting positions. Cleveland's where QB's go to die...so can't ever count them out. Jackson's sticking with Kizer, but honestly he hasn't been very good. Giants may draft a QB...Eli's days are numbered...they like Davis Webb, though. Shoot, lots of teams will probably draft QB's & that could give Lynch a golden opportunity to trade down and get a bundle of good picks. Assuming he signs a couple of good interior OL FA's, maybe a WR, CB and possibly a LB, he could use some early picks to get a top WR, RB, pass rusher, depending on how things shake out. Still draft a couple of OL, but not to start, rather to develop. He could really stock up on talent.

Teams that could use a highly drafted QB:
-Browns (#1)
-Giants (#3)
-Broncos (#4)
-Chargers (#9)
-Cardinals (#10)
-Redskins (#12)
-Bengals (#13)
-NY Jet (#14)
-Dolphins (#15)
-Bills (#18)
-Ravens (#19)
-Jaguars (#27)
-Saints (#28)
-Vikings (#29)
-Steelers (#30)
Now i think we can expect Brees, Cousins, and Manning to be signed as starters to teams with below average QB play. (could be resigned or retained by current team)
Also, we have alot QBs who can make a case to be picked in the top 15
-Rosen and Darnold are locks to the top 10
-Allen is a lock for 15 on potential alone
-Mayfield and Jackson is someone who can pop into the top 10
-Ryan Finley is someone who is rising very fast up boards. Ive seen some talking about him being top 5 in this draft class and being a 1st rounder
-Mason Rudolph is a steady player who could be picked in the first by a desperate team.
That is 7 QBs who can be taken in the 1st round
With the second overall pick, we might be looking to trade down twice for teams looking to trade up for a QB, which dramatically raises the value of the pick we are sitting at. This could be a great year for trading down and we could be looking at a draft pick haul like no other
Patriots won't trade up but they need to draft a qb now.
Maybe they go after a guy like Falk.

Dont think I'd like a deal with Denver and Elway I'm sure Elway will want a buddy deal and be in Lynchs ear about all tha help and advice he has given him over tha past yr ...

I kinda like that idea then with a bunch of 2nd and 3rd round picks trade back into tha 1st and get another great player ...

Would imagine Niners make some calls for young, under performing WRs around the league. Amari Cooper and Devontae Parker should be on the list.

Broncos radio is proposing a trade with the 49ers. Von Miller + the Broncos 1st for the 49ers first. I would love that trade but it won't happen
