Derrius Guice, RB, LSU

Soooo overrated lol. This dude is the most likely out of the top 5 RB's to bust IMO.

I think he's a god damn good RB...I doubt we go after him and YES I wouldn't want to have to deal with him in Seattle, he's beast mode 2.0 imo.

you don't like it don't come into this thread

Is he beast mode, or Frank Gore?

Im confused?

15 isn't a bad number for a RB anyway....Gore put up 15

But gore was never seen as beast mode either tho

it's all about the lower leg stuff for me regarding RBs. Tackle breaking is all about the lower leg power.

40 time is important as well, not the end all be all imo.

Kid can squat 650 which is pretty damn impressive

Leg strength it more important across the board for nearly every position. True.

Lol a little of both...he's got gores vision/pad level and Lynch's tackle breaking/finishing plays ability. Never said he was a clone of gore.

I'm sure your not gonna say Barkley is just Barry Sanders, theres similar traits of multiple players that make up what a guy is imo.

I'm not the only one who said frank gore...don't get upset with me

Zierlein Comped him to lynch FWIW.

Yup and Barkley is even stronger which is nuts

Yet Guice is harder to tackle which proves these lifts are meaningless. A Guice comparison I keep thinking of is Ray Rice. Guice does not shy away from contact which is a strength and weakness as sometimes it looks like he's seeking out a hit when he doesn't need to.

I have said it once, and will say it again. The Gore comparison is Lazy and not even close to accurate. When i asked for some sort of actual comparison in the tape, i was shown one f**king run, where he is able to get through a tight window, but yet is still standing straight up with a high pad level while doing it.

The kid is a Pin Ball. Its impressive how he is able to maintain his balance while standing straight up and getting jacked, and he does show incredible leg strength, but i worry that style wont be long for the NFL.

Yeah your right daniel jeremiah was never a scout for the eagles/Ravens he's got no idea what he's talking about

It's cool agree to disagree we've been down this road before not sense debating about it again.
He was a product of LSU 1978 offense and didn't get to be a pass catching RB which is required in today's NFL. Comes down to whether or not a team like the 49ers will take a chance on him because RBs that can also be receivers is something that Kyle is looking

Show me the film. Otherwise, again, its an extremely lazy comparison, and i have seen 0 basis for that comparison.

Right now it looks like he is a back thats falling in draft position to me.

No f**king way the 49ers would consider this guy at 10 lol.

His vision looks like gore especially in between tackles, sorry if you don't see it. Good lord...go tweet DJ that he's horrible at his job and he's been lazy on the comparison, dude gets paid much more than you are I to evaluate players.

And I said certain aspects of his running style look like gore and other aspects look like lynch..if you don't agree that's fine.

I keep responding to you about it, because you keep defending the comparison. Where on that video you posted exactly does he look like Gore?

Literally the first 50 secs of that clip...a young frank gore absolutely. Great vision, balance, their lateral movement is damn near the same, he hits the hole with a purpose no lost movement or dancing around same as gore, he gets skinny in the gaps and is a downhill runner, both have great footwork as well...the way he finishes on those red zone TDs are reminiscent of gore in the RZ as well.
