Anthony Miller has the best tape since Amari Cooper, and we're ready to die on that hill

I see the Panthers going after him round 2, so we would probably have to jump ahead to get him

You think? Not sure what they do with the GM situation they got going on...I do know cam isn't accurate at all and having a WR with a big catch radius makes sense...that's not Miller.
I kinda see Curtis Samuel taking on a bigger role next yr

That be a bummer . Would be such a waste of his talent to have cam throwing him the ball
5"11, 200 pounds, Quick feet, decent (not great)speed, huge hands, makes circus catches with those hands, red zone target, insane production(yea in a gimmick offense), hard runner and gets yards after the catch . And he's not even expected to go in the first. That's a big reason I want him. Huge value in the second round.

Yup like him a lot...I will say he double catches a lot of balls and drops easy passes. He's got a injured past and he's speed isn't off the charts, which is why I think drops him to the 3rd. (I hope). He's got shanahan written all over him

Drops easy passes at times. And I saw someone else give a good explanation on it. He clearly gets too caught up thinking about the YAC(you even see his head already turned thinking about the next move), then drops easy ass passes. Dude just needs to settle down at times. Yea I hope the injury concerns drop him too. Could easily see teams reaching for some of the big ass WRs in this draft.
Our WR core is set at the moment but it greatly helps the cap to have a cheap 2nd or 3rd rounder replace someone. Allows us to cash out on other positions.
Seems like a perfect Shanny wr but I can see Kyle passing on him because of his speed not being off the charts and playing in that college offense

Oh I like Miller a lot and would love him in SF. I don't know if he's gonna be a 2nd rd pick (based on what I said). I agree, I think the drops can be fixed he's definitely taking his eyes off the ball and looking downfield before he catches the damn thing...you won't be in the league very long if you keep doing that.
If he's chilling there in the 3rd I'm jumping on it...not before that though. I'm also a fan of Hamilton, ton of good value picks from the late 2nd-4th this yr

He getting that Antonio Brown love.
6. ANTHONY MILLER, Memphis (5-11, 200, 4.54, 2-3): Compared by two scouts to the great Antonio Brown (5-10, 183, 4.53), who was the Steelers' sixth-round pick in 2010. "Very similar traits coming out," said one. "Every quarterback in the league would love to have him. He's a ready-made NFL slot guy. Maybe has the biggest chip on his shoulder of anybody. Hellacious football player. He may not burn up a 40 clock but he's quick and extraordinarily intelligent. He is a great blocker … he won't be a guy that goes outside and runs away from people on the vertical stuff. His game is inside. He understands leverage, route concepts, how to adjust. He's cocky, but in a very likeable way." Led the top seven WRs on the Wonderlic with 26. Walked on at Memphis, his hometown team. "Oh, man, that is a football-playing dude," another scout said. "He's not the biggest, not the fastest, but this guy knows how to play. Tough as nails. One of the best run-after-the-catch guys I have ever done. He's a great second-round pick." Finished with 238 receptions for 3,590 yards (15.1) and 37 TDs. "He's just a good little football player," a third scout said. "Small, slow. Just made play after play for them in that system. Just not a lot of pro up side."

If we see him as just a slot guy then doubt we take him. Trent is Kyle's guy. But that's kinda like saying you wouldn't get Landry/Edelman because you already have amendola.

He's said himself that he prefers the slot, he wouldn't make it outside in a scheme like the Chargers or Cards, but in Shanny's scheme he'll be just fine.
Variety of routes from a variety of alignments, emphasis on route running.

I have really studied this kid the last week or two and I really, really like him. Love his RAC ability. Looks like a smooth, fluid route runner and receiver. He's my Rd 2 target
