Matt Miller has a major crush on Josh Allen and I'm not sure why. He spent a lot of time hyping him up in the offseason, and I think he's having a hard time letting it go.

Allen will be better against the crap competition he has the rest of the way. I hope people don't point to that as reasons he should be QB2. He looks awful in all phases of the game.
Matt Miller hitched his wagon to Josh Allen and refuses to let go.

Lol

Matt Miller is really no different than any poster on here, he just simply has a big following. But in terms of football IQ, Miller hasn't proven it.

I'll never understand why people are so interested in what he has to say.

Lol

This...I'm waiting for him to change his tune, don't see it happening though lol.

The reality is you draft on potential, not performance.

But still...Allen has a long way to go. Imo he looks like a prospect 30 teams wouldn't draft but 2 teams will think he is a 3rd rounder

I agree with you in regards to his talent evaluation.

But he does have some connections in the league. He was adamant that the 49ers loved Reuben Foster. He was right. He also called the Jaquiski pick minutes before it happened. I think he's close to a 49er scout.

yeah agreed...also gotta look at who's playing around him/coaching him.

not one single play on that team outside of him is NFL caliber, he was all over the place vs Oregon but there was no one open either. I could see a guy like Bruce Arians taking a shot on him.
It's his first rankings. Soon he will see who the best CBs are. Toliver and Alexander

Bruce Arians will be retired or dead before Josh Allen ever becomes a capable NFL starter. I would imagine Arians going for a more immediate starter.

Lmao that we got a chuckle out of Bruce being dead. Just retire after the off season Bruce. Enjoy life
Looking at this list of prospects I'm finding myself super torn on who I would want.

I'm finding myself falling in love with Fitzpatrick but not sure if FS will be a need. Ward played pretty well out there Sunday but health is an issue so he'll have to prove he can stay healthy.

We took a major step forward in adding talent this last offseason but I can't help but look at that list and still want an early round pick at nearly every position.

QB - obvious
RB - not a need but damn there are some talented guys out next year. Barkley is legit.
WR - Ridley or Sutton would be fantastic
OT - Joe's not getting any younger
OG - clearly the weak link on the line and I don't know if the coaches love Garnett as much as Lays Kelly did
C - Kilgore stepped up...but we can do better

Leo - Harold would be superb, we need that dominant rusher on this team
LB - Not sure how much longer Bow will stick around and we clearly need better guys out there with him and Foster
CB - do want
S - see above
I like Matt Miller. Plus he is a niner fan so that's a big plus. Who cares if he likes Allen the best. There isn't a scout, GM, or coach who hasn't missed on over half of their picks. I like the guys who aren't afraid to put themselves out there. He could have easily went with Darnold or Rosen over Allen.

This draft needs to be our offensive draft. QB, OL, WR

Agreed. Last years draft was so defense heavy it would have been foolish to try and get offensive players. This draft is shaping up to be strong on both sides of the ball. Maybe not the depth at pass rushers and tight ends as last year but still a very good draft.
