Indiana redshirt junior WR Simmie Cobbs caught 11 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 49-21 loss to Ohio State.
Cobbs almost didn't play in this one, having been arrested in July on misdemeanor charges of refusal to identify, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement. Indiana ultimately opted not to suspend him. Goody for them, as he went off on Thursday, dazzling with an array of difficult catches, including an eight-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter. Simms missed all but one game a year ago due to an ankle injury, but when healthy in 2015, posted a 60-1035-4 receiving line. We expect him to match, if not surpass, that line this time around.
Looked impressive
