Maurice "Mo" Hurst Jr. DT

So the guy that the browns should take at 4(according to pff) doesn't even have a thread here

Because PFF is smoking crack. Hurst is top 5 in talent amongst the non-QB's but reported heart issues are set to knock him way down the draft boards it appears.

Would take this guy in a heartbeat (no pun intended) if he drops to day 3
If they're thinking DL (not likely) then Vea's the guy to draft.

I would not be mad about that.

"The prototypical 3-technique defensive tackle, Hurst offers a pass-rushing toolbox that no other interior player in this class can come close to matching. His four-year career of grades is unlike anything we've ever seen at the defensive tackle position, proving his durability and sustainability at the position."

Again, this may come as a surprise to some because when looking at mock drafts, Hurst doesn't usually go in the top three as far as picks go. When it comes to pure talent, however, PFF loves him.

"Michigan's Maurice Hurst, the All-American defensive tackle who was cleared medically to continue playing football after being held out of the NFL following an irregular EKG, is expected to be the highest-drafted Michigan player in the NFL Draft."

Herbstreit believes analysts may be sleeping on Hurst because he didn't participate at the combine for medical reasons.

"It's almost as if (players like Hurst) get forgotten," Herbstreit said. "People better remember. Just turn the film on. He is a quick, he's a little undersized but makes up for it with his quickness, and he's a playmaker. We've got these big guys, inside guys, and I'm telling you, Mo Hurst will be one of those guys."

Agreed.
"ESPN recently released their list of the biggest offseason standouts for each team, and for the Raiders, Hurst was the choice. Already working with the first team, Hurst has not backed down from anybody during camp, and the coaching staff has taken notice."
