A, because we also have a 5th yr option, which will be transition tag money in 2021, loved the trade, and pick. John Lynch has surprised me and a lot of 49er fans, so happy with Thomas and Foster, got two of my top 7 players on my board.

So now that the 9ers don't have a 2nd round pick, do they trade into the 2nd?

That's what I'm thinking. the 5th year option makes picks 28-32 so much more valuable than 33-36
