weak: all 5 OL spots, QB
Strong:
starting CB can probably be reliably found into the 3rd-4th round
2nd and 3rd rounds are very rich in pass rushers
solid RB to be had in all 7 rounds

Put it like this... defense is the much safer pick in this class no matter the round.

Thanks for your analysis master Yoda, I mean MadDog. We don't really NEED any of the thinnest. We're bound to more than likely kick the tires on G&QB around rounds 3-5 wouldn't you say? I can see for example QB in 4th, G/T in the 5th.
What is your gut feeling, we trade down or stay put? Whose your second and round picks for us?

Based on my best board right now, my projected picks would be:
1. Thomas
2. Engram
3. Kupp
I don't think we trade up or down (I don't think anybody really wants that number 2 overall). Later on, there will be moves. I can see Lynch and Shanahan making another move for a guard in a trade. He likes his vet OL.

Engram is a bit of a surprise IMO based on the defensive heavy draft, but I can see why Shanahan would like another offensive weapon like him on the roster. Is there a specific OG you think the Niners are targeting?

We all say QB is weak but there just isnt a consensus top 10 pick. I can see 5 starting QBs from this class if given the proper time to develop.

Agree
We probably won't gain much w/a trade down.
Getting Solomon would still be solid and more of a sure thing,

I think they'd like to wait until Day Three to address this need. With Zuttah in at center and Garnett at G, the Niners need to look at another guard (not sure Beadles is the answer for 2017 or 2018). If a player like Nico Siragusa or a Dorian Johnson falls into the early 4th, they would be attractive players.

Interior ol isnt that bad cause i think roninson and lamp project better at guard
