To me, unless by some miracle the Browns pass on Garrett it will be between Lattimore and Adams.

My gut is telling me that if Garrett is gone (likely), that Fournette is going to be the pick. I don't think they are in love with any of the QBs at the top. I've also read that they aren't high on the WRs at the top either. But, they seem to adore Fournette. You could picture them having Cousins at Qb and Fournette at RB for the foreseeable future.

I think it'll be fournette but I'd rather take Barnett at 2

I disagree. I think Fournette will be much more of an impact player than Lattimore or Adams.
Once you put Fournette into context with Hyde and Juszczyk, we can probably dominate the run game in the league.

I hope not other then 3-5 players who will be gone in the first 2 rounds Offensive linemen stink this year. Maybe a player who can play Center/Guard/Tackle late in the draft and let him sit for a couple of years.
Lots of OLine guys coming out but a very weak quality class.

Trade all the way down outside of the top 15 because that's where he most likely ends up

Could not disagree any stronger that Corey Davis isnt an elite WR prospect. Gotta be kidding me with that.

The way I see it, Hoyer going to start this year and we get Cousins next year to a long term contract. So I don't see us drafting a QB who will sit anyway and not see the light of day and not impact the team at #2, if they do there is a good chance they don't go after Cousins, but don't see it. None of them are ready to play and should sit to learn. Since that is the case just get a developmental in the 3rd or 4th round. Use the First two picks to get impact players who WILL play now.
Drafting a QB to sit and not make an impact is a waste.
Best scenario is for us to trade back, unfortunately the ones that should have made waves did not up their game at the combine to solidify their position. Not to mention injuries and dramas as has been stated.
Hoping that they jump back out at their pro day so that someone will jump up to get them.
Fournette, he did well, a 4.51 at the combine at 240 lbs is nothing to sneeze at, besides he is a power runner and many have compared him to possibly being in the Adrian Peterson mode and class. Hyde has injury problems and his contract is up this year or next. Another thing is they are two different running styles that teams will have to game plan for. The only question is, is he the type back that Shanahan wants, players will have to stack the box on him and unlike before, Shanahan will have his QB pass on play action off it, even with Hoyer in there in the first year. That said, I hope the Panthers find that he is a need and move up to get him. If we can't trade out, would not be mad with him as our pick. Especially if they can get Hightower and Poe.
Jabrill Peppers is puzzle that can play all over and Malik is a an impact player also, despite how people like to say safety are not generally taken that high, if they can make an impact or lack of a better way of saying it, affect the team in a Ronnie Lott manner, then take him. Ward could end up staying at CB.
Barnett is okay at the #2 spot, though trading back would be better value, this is especially true of Allen. His bench press numbers were unimpressive but that is because of his injuries, he should have rested and waiting for his pro day. The other worry I have of him is he played on an Alabama D that was loaded. If we get Poe, then we are not getting Allen and more likely going after Barnett. This will make our D so much better.
If we get Pryor in FA, then I don't think they are going after a wr, but Corey would complement Garcon better than Williams, but at number 2-no, another one where we need to trade out.
Foster after his head case reaction at the hospital he is going to fall far so no at #2, I figure he is going fall to 12 and beyond. Figure we go LB in the second instead.
So I hope the pro days improve some stock and we can trade back and get more players.

I hope we draft a player who plays center and not one where we have to convert, we have not been successful in that regard since Bob Mc left us unwillingly. Although new regime, still - stay away from USC players in the draft, they just have not been good for us.

Which is important if you want to set up the passing through play action. Although we did this before, it never worked cause even with Harbaugh, the off scheme for the passing game was bland and the QBs were hesitant. Even with Hoyer, I expect him to be more open to winging it.

As for Fournette. No. Just no. Too much injury risk.Too heavy. Didn't test well. He has way too much bust potential. No chance a RB is worth the 2nd overall.
I'd go Jamal Adams if we didn't have Reid, Tartt and Ward at Safety which leaves Lattimore as the safest player with the highest upside who fills a huge need. Run some tape on Lattimore. I can't remember a better press corner than him coming out in the past 10 years. Stick him on a #1 wideout and let him do his thing. Dare teams to throw his way. It won't turn out well.
CB- Marshon Lattimore
CB- Rashard Robinson - Tramaine Brock
Slot- K'Waunn Williams - Will Redmon
SS- Eric Reid - Jaquiski Tartt
FS- Jimmy Ward
That is a nice looking secondary
He ran a 4.51 at 240 LBS... his vertical was bad but idk how u say he didn't test well. As for his weight, he looked solid to me. I didn't think he looked fat and sloppy like Eddie Lacey. This kid played hurt all year and still rushed over 100 yards in 5 of the 7 games he played. Scored 22 rushing TDs the year before. Fournette is the real deal.

I'm with you, Fournette is the guy I want if Garrett is gone.

Don't think QB is off the board at #2.
The QB position is so important it's ok to double dip, especially if in our case you have the cap room. If we wind up with Cousins and a young QB who pushes him for the starting job that the team can see being better long term well I'm sure another team will be happy to take Cousins off our hands.
