Trade Down?

I see a lot of thread conversations about trading down.

What player are teams trading up for?

You can't trade back without leverage.

QB? Jonathan Allen?
I always found it silly to predict trades without something concrete being discussed in public.

I think people are going off rumors that team X likes player Y. What I find funny about that is for the most part the teams people predict us trading down with are trading up for a player who could be a great fit for us as well.

Honestly I think people just like being able to make more picks in their mock drafts so they always trade down.
More picks certainly doesn't mean better players.

Baalke proved that.

The Browns always have a ton of picks. If you constantly trade down and pick the wrong player it's pointless.

I agree... It's not common that you get a top 2 pick, we should take full advantage. Either roll the dice on a new FQB or take Garrett.
The Niners are in a risky situation if they want a QB with the second pick. All reports say it is a poor QB class, Will anyone in the top 10 want to move up to 2? Doubtful. How about 12-20, maybe. At the top of the draft if they don't go QB they are assured a difference maker, especially on D. Stick with the pick and draft a QB in round 2, they will be there.

Yeah I'm pretty sure everyone knew the falcons won the trade for Julio.

49ers trade pick #2 to Jaguars who select Jonathan Allen

49ers trade pick #4 to Bengals who select Mike Williams

49ers trade pick #9 to Eagles who select Dalvin Cook

Finally we pick Corey Davis @ #14

know we have 9 picks in round 2 and 8 picks in round 3

We also have 6 first round pick in 2018.

Id love to stick it to Chicago
One team I can see trading up is the Jets...their QB situation's not good and they may want to grab one early. Every year we see QB's over-valued...I'm sure this draft will be no exception. So, I can see them as a trading partner. We'd get their #6, their 2nd rd pick and probably an early pick in the 2018 draft.
