Kap > Hoyer.
But if Kap stays he gotta get his ass up for the anthem.
And leave the ✊ bs for the off season.
Oh yeah and cut that damn fro down a few inches sh!t.

Mahomes is my favorite after round 1, but I might need to start looking back at Kaaya along with Webb.
You think Kayaa and his clunky feet are a good fit for an offense that uses a lot of bootlegs? Matt Ryan isn't super mobile but he's like Russell Wilson compared to Kayaa.

Im sure "Gute" knows weather that's true or not, He could be the guy we bring in via trade, shouldn't be too costly
Hoyer knows Shany and the system, at worst he helps the transition,
If we get Gute, he'd definitely know if Hundley is worth it. Romo,Jimmy,McCarron,Hoyer,Hundley...a combo of two would be dope too.

Think he was more so talking about Incase Mahommes isn't there so the next wave of QBs.

Remember when his running got much slower than it is in the video clip?
The guy was a wonder--but he was a one-hit wonder. He's not going back to that.

Remember when the offense saved our defense.. Good times. Sucks when your GM cant draft.
Until we find someone better or groom, I wouldnt mind.
Its like cheating on your girlfriend, if you get caught with the mistress. She better equal or better
Whatever Kyle wants to do. It is what it is.

As for Ponder, meh
Agree on Romo
I think he'd be great to mentor and develop a rookie
IMO, he'll go out of the NFC and over to Houston and stay in Texas.
I think that'd be a smart move for him and the Texans.
Ostweiler sucks and the guy behind him is definitely better.
Romo could develop him.
Guys like Romo want a last shot with a good team, not a rebuild team, so unlikely, unless you throw ridiculous money at him.

Its been years since posting. But I do remember John Brodie as QB. I'm not seeing any college QB worth a reach. I would rather see the 49ers make a trade for Trevor Simeon (Broncos). This guy is a natural thrower (motion and body coordination), handled the challenges of the Kubiak offense, moves well, and has actual, not projected NFL experience. Secondly I would keep Gabbert. He has assets. Unfortunately he has been coached poorly (throwing mechanics) which cause his accuracy issues. I watch him play and wonder why his coaches haven't worked/corrected obvious mechanical mistakes. I think both of these guys have the ability to execute proficiently a Shanahan WCO. I would argue they have attributes equivalent to Matt Ryan with better movement skills. I don't think Kap is the answer and Ponder didn't have the opportunity to make an impression with 49ers.

Romo going to Buffalo wouldn't be to win lol

Having QBs like Ponder (who was painting his house before we got him) and Hoyer, is what makes the Browns the Browns..and the Texans like the Texans.
QBs like
Hoyer
Tj Yates
Matt Moore
Keenum
McCown Brothers
etc
If that is the kind of, rotating at the door QBs, type of team you want the 9ers to be....then yall all these "bridge" QBs.
I'd rather trade for QBs with potential like McCarron, Jimmy G, Tyrod Taylor.........if Kap doesn't stay here

Sign Hoyer as the bridge QB since he knows the offense already and has generally been productive. Draft Mahomes, maybe draft another QB later on in the draft to develop as well.
He can paint the locker room though.

He's not going to. Get rid of him and the distraction. He may have been voted by his peers and they all acted like he's great for doing what he did but I guarantee you a large part of them wanted him gone and just couldn't say it without looking bad.
It's best for both sides to part ways.

The league didn't figure out that he only looks at his first read, the front office never gave him more than one decent read to work with cause they couldn't draft or develop WR's.
The league didn't realize that he had poor accuracy, the front office got rid of his O-linemen and replaced them with 3rd stringers and castoffs so he never has time to set his feet before he throws the ball.
He can still run, he's not slower he just was dealing with injuries as well as confidence/motivation issues hence the trade request.
One hit wonders don't go to back to back NFC Championship games and a super bowl.
