Him and Taco Charlton are sneaky good prospects folks are slightly overlooking.

Sadly WE often over look good players in our neighborhood(Fresno st., Stanford, Cal, San Jose st., etc) only to see Green bay and teams back East come all the way out here, scoop them up , then watch them kick us in the nuts when they beating us.. Never cud figure that one out. FIRE THE SCOUT in the region!

name me these players plz. Baldwin? above-avg. Sherman? ok, I'll give you that one. anyone else?
btw, we picked Garnett, just sayin.

How about Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Pretty sure they would qualify for being "in our neighborhood"

OMG BECKY get over tha Rodgers pick already been 10+ years

He asked for examples and I gave him 2. Stick that violin where the sun never shines.
Solomon Thomas got tackles about 40 and ast 21 total 61 and sacks about 8.5 and never missed games.

Thomas is a beast. The question is whether he would be as effective in our 3-4 as he would be in a 4-3.

I think, he can do both for 4-3 and 3-4. He is a beast a defense for pretty good and good effect to defense by DLines.
This guy is so unbelievably good when you sit down and astutely watch his tape. The guy consistently resets the line of scrimmage. He plays with thunder in his hands and smacks people around like george foreman. Just really heavy hands and has one of the best motors in the draft. I just finished re-watching the Stanford UNC game, and can't count how many times I had to stop and ask myself, "are we sure this isn't the best player in the draft?"

This draft reminds of me of 2011 when Von got all the hype, but best player of the class was selected in the 11th spot with JJ Watt. i think solomon thomas is going to wreak havoc in the nfl.

He has potential to be best player out of this draft. He can wreck a game plan from the interior. Obviously Allen is the better prospect but neither of them fill our biggest needs. Interior DT is actually or lowest need. Not counting the nose

did you watch more than just the UNC game. his con is that he is inconsistent from game to game.

I posted before reading you post but exactly my thoughts except I feel Garret and Allen are better prospects.

I'm through rice, wsu and unc; he's flashed dominance in every game so far. I'm trying to find a link to the notre dame game. A contingent of draft evaluators I follow on Twitter couldn't stop gushing over his performance in that game.

this is actually not obvious at all. It's very debateable right now. any scouts/draft evaluators have placed solomon thomas above jonathan allen in their draft rankings. solomon thomas could cement himself above allen after the combine.

Solomon Thomas is really, really good...

Yep. I love him beasts and smart to play tackles on RB and sack on Quartback too.
The more I watch of him, the more I want him...though would prefer a trade down.

Would love to see something like this after a trade down to pick up another 2nd and a 3rd next year.

1. Solomon Thomas
2a. Haason Reddick
2b. Forrest Lamp
3. Zay Jones
4. Nathan Peterman
5. Travin Dural
6. Kendall Beckwith
7. Cooper Rush
This guy could end up being the best defensive player of this draft. Garrett has the traits and body type but Thomas has a relentless motor. Would love him as an Aaron Donald pass rushing type of lineman.
Dude just ran a 4.09 20 yard shuttle

FYI Bosa ran a 4.21 and Von miller ran a 4.06

He's a fantastic athlete to go along with grown man strength and playmaking. So much Justin Smith to his game.
