There's no way Mike Shanahan takes a assistant GM job. Watson at 2....horrible, that would awesome if Beckwith and Fields lasted till the 3rd and 4th rounds, which IMO I don't see happening when its all said and done. And more little slot receivers is not what the 49ers need, Shanahan seems to favor the bigger receivers.
Just my take.
Just my take.

Overall, looks like a good plan to address all the Niners pressing needs. I just wonder if Watson or any QB is worth a top 10 pick. If Mahomes declares, I would rather take him in the second or third round. Good job on the WR picks with Westbrook and Etta-Tawo.

Don't see why Tom Gamble would even be here if Shanny is the guy
I see Mitch Turbisky being much much better as a WCO QB...it's all timing based and he looks like he could thrive in that system. I don't see the point in keeping Kerley if they go Westbrook?
Like the FA overall but no to Patterson & Swearinger. IF Mike is the GM I could see Pierre Garcon coming in as a FA.
I think we'd need that big #1 WR like Kolohe said...K Shanny loves him some big WRs. Moving back up into the 20s to get Corey Davis would be needed (give up our 2nd and 4th).
end of the day I'd be happy though.

i would love Corey Davis but wasnt big on trying to figure out the worth of a move to say 22-25 range to land him. And after I think more about it, maybe Shanahan is just the GM and Gamble leaves or stays in his current position.

I can see us certainly taking Watson if Kelly stays. But It could all change with Shanny and son with what they'd perfer.

Welp to move up to say around 20-25 we could part with our high 2nd and high 4th (we should have a comp 4th coming). It all depends if the team we are trading with sees value in those rounds.
I hope we trade to up for who we want, no more 10+ draft picks for developmental prospects we got plently of those lol.

No way we'd go w/that many FA.

I can see Shannahan as the GM and maybe him keeping Gamble on his staff as an talent evaluator. But that's the only way Gamble stays if Mike is hired.

Wouldn't Falk be the perfect WCO QB?

I don't think he's coming out this draft...I like Turbisky in a WCO.

will be a "huge reach" if he runs the table and carries Clemson to a national championship?
