1. Round 1 – While we certainly do need a franchise QB, I'm not convinced any of the options that will be available this year in the Top 5 or Top 10, have the repetitive accuracy and decision making to warrant the decision. I would rather wait it out, and shoot for Jake Browning next year. So, we trade our Top 5 pick to Tennessee for their two picks in the teens, currently slated at 16 and 17. This works according to the trade chart, as long as our pick is in the top 2 or 3. (http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2016/10/2017_nfl_draft_order_after_wee_1.html)
2. Round 1 (16) - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson. Our current depth chart at WR is so bad. We need a #1, we need depth, we need more playmakers. Mike Williams is arguably the best WR coming out this year.
3. Round 1 (17) - Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama. It is very apparent that since losing Willis, then Borland, and then Bowman to injury, we need a another huge talent infusion at LB. And like Williams, Foster is arguably the best coming out this year at his position.
4. Round 2 (own pick) - Ethan Pocic, OG/OC, LSU. I believe drafting lineman, offensive and defensive, every year. Successful teams are built from the inside out. Yes we have Kilgore at Center, and we just signed and drafted Beadles and Garnett. But Pocic is worth it. Let them compete and see what happens. Either way, we develop depth.
5. Round 3 (own pick) - Ryan Anderson, OLB/DE, Alabama. He is developing into one of Alabama's best pass rushers, which is certainly something we could use.
6. Round 4 (own pick) - John Ross, WR, Washington. He slips due to past knee injuries. But his play this year shows that he is back and just as explosive as ever.
7. Round 5 (own pick) - Avery Gennesy, OT, Texas A&M. Just like with Pocic. We have Staley and Brown, and just drafted Theus and Cooper last year, but lets throw Gennesy in and let me compete.
8. Round 5 (Washington pick acquired in trade for TE Derek Carrier) - Brandon Facyson, CB, Virginia Tech. Solid corner from a program that is known for producing good defensive backs.
9. Round 6 (own pick) - Stacy Coley, WR, Miami. Speedy WR that adds another playmaker to the offense.
10. Round 6 (Denver pick acquired in trade for TE Vernon Davis) - Jamal Williams, RB, BYU. Another playmaker for the offense. His success against BYU's schedule this year has been impressive. He is one of the most underrated backs in the country.
11. Round 7 (Cleveland's pick acquired in 2015 trade for Andy Lee) - Kai Nacua, S, BYU. Hard hitting ballhawk that is leading the country in interceptions.

The draft fills needs and provides playmakers. I believe it is a solid talent infusion. Now, it is early in the process, some of the picks might be wishful thinking, but I think it is pretty fair from my research. Like I said earlier, we are still missing a QB. But after this draft, I believe many of our needs will have been met. So lets let these new guys develop and then go all in for Browning in 2018. Let me know what you guys think.
