We all want the Niners to win.
But i want to also keep track of how the season unfolds for the lowly teams in this season to see just where we will slot in for the next NFL draft. Oh how i wish we didnt fit into the conversation of worst teams in the league but it is what it is. Hopefully the 49ers winning will keep this thread cool.
And this draft is considerably deeper than last year. Could we be top 3? 1st overall? Yikes...
As of right now, the teams i believe that will be drafting early are...
Miami
Chicago
Los Angeles
Jacksonville (Bortles taking step back)
Cleveland
San Francisco
Tennessee (I think the Titans are the best team in this group).
Going into week 4 of this season, 16 teams are 1-2 or worse, so things are cloudy now. The smoke will clear soon

I agree, I certainly don't want to see the team be in this position as a losing team, but if we do end up with a top five pick I want us to get a player who helps us avoid being in such a spot in the future. It behooves us to take our lumps now if we can make something of the spot we end up in in the 2017 draft. The best we will be now is middle of the pack. I'd rather suck temporarily than be mediocre long term. The idea is to strike gold and have a cornerstone offensive piece (ideally FQB) coming out of the draft.

Watson looks really good on this drive. His stats for the full game are pretty good now minus the interception (and fumble). If Louisville didn't have so many blatant pass interferences, his passing stats would look even better.
41 rushing yards, 9/15 155 yards 2 TD's 1 Int.

LA isn't drafting ahead of us even if they have a worse record and Jacksonville isn't drafting a QB.
Cleveland and Chicago are the biggest concerns IMO. I think Miami may still give Tannehil another chance plus I think they end up with a better record.

Having watched Bortles win today, I wouldnt be surprised if Jville take a qb. He was very poor.

They aren't going to take another QB early after Bortles had a couple good seasons and was drafted early in 2014. They will give him more time. Gus Bradley however is done in Jacksonville.

Miami may be a team to watch. The diehard fans -all 12 of them- are really starting to voice their frustration of Tannehill. Its actually been going on for a while but the front office hasnt been in agreement on what to do about developing or upgrading through draft

IMO, Bears and Browns will be in the market for a QB.
I don't know their strength of schedule but as much as I hate to lose ...
I'd rather be in position to draft a franchise QB and end up w/some meaningless wins this season

Browns have been close in most games. They will get a few wins. I think they end up with 3-4 wins.
