I think that Baalke knows our defense will be playing way more snaps this year so it seems he's thinking that we need more bodies on defense.

Maybe so, but it seems like we are missing really good talent that could help us in every round.

That sums up Baalke pretty well. Baalke cannot draft offensive players worth a s**t so he sticks with his bread and butter......drafting players with knee problems.

He always drafts defense and it has not panned out. Not sure if these guys will be much different. I don't like this strategy. We had the worst offense in the NFL last year, and so far Im not inspired to believe it will be much different. Maybe Kelly thinks he can work magic with the current roster, but I see very little talent on that side of the ball.
On the positive side, I do like Blair and Robinson. I just don't know where all these corners are going to fit on the roster. Baalke is literally spending all of his draft capital on the same positions year after year. We need playmakers on offense, and we have yet to address any skill positions on offense.

this aint college. we can't just stack our roster full of defensive bodies.

Our defense played like two less snaps than the Eagles' did last year. I think the concern about them getting gassed is overblown BUT it is good to see that we picked up a lot of depth in the draft.

I read somewhere that in Kelly's 3 seasons with the Eagles, they drafted like 76 or 86% defense. Cant find the numbers, but with Kelly being able to scheme so well on O, it tells me Baalke trusts Kelly's plans and innovative approach

The offense has the talent, it just needed a system. I'm loving this draft so far. Double/triple down on you investment on that DLine from last years draft. This defense will come back to form, just need a little patience for development.

I think Kelly wants to find out what he has already. There are a ton of receivers on this roster that regardless of how you may feel about them, we dont know how Kelly feels about them or how they would look in his scheme. Guys like Torrey, Ellington, Patton, Smelter, Rogers, Anderson and White.
It might be that he feels that he can work with the guys that are already there.

Dres Anderson, Smelter, Rogers and White are all still a mystery.

I sure hope Kelly can make the offense click. We need as many playmakers on defense as possible if we can't out score the opponent right away
